Our historic bowls club was established in 1865 making it one of the oldest in the Medway area;
Our extensive club facilities include; secure on site parking; immaculately maintained green; contemporary club house with optional changing facilities and cloakrooms (including disabled access); sizeable function room; fully licenced sports bar; external veranda with tables and seating overlooking the green; comprehensive kitchen and catering area.
The purpose of the club is to provide a valuable sports and social facility for both the local and wider community. As well as moderate exercise the club provides a full calendar of competitions for all bowling abilities, together with appealing social events which run throughout the open and winter season (visit our upcoming events page for more information).
Our Club embraces the ethos of equality, diversity and inclusivity; members are welcomed regardless of their fitness levels, disabilities or other physical challenges; from novices to experienced players we provide an induction which is tailored to members individual needs which includes personal coaching, if desired;
Members are provided with organised practise sessions ‘roll ups' twice weekly during the season; free unlimited access to the green by booking a rink; friendly matches with other local clubs; CBC whole club competitions, charity events and County level competitions;
