Play Gets under way in the CBC Ladies Open
Invitation Triples |
 |
Play throughout the day the was
extrememly competitive and the Club Chairman,
Stan Coombs, who was the umpire for the day,
was kept busy measuring several very close
heads. |

|
| With so many ladies exerting so much effort
they were clearly going to be in need of sustainance
at lunch time and they were not disappointed.
Their every need was catered for by the willing
band of volunteers who occupied the kithen
area. These ladies did a wonderful job with
the lunches and cakes and were ably assisted
by John Cheetham who served the wine and did
the washing up! |

Another male member of the club
who provided valuable assistance was Mick
Carr who ensured that the schedule ran smoothly.
