Once again a very successful Ladies Open Invitation Triples was held at Chatham Bowls on Saturday, 20th June. The weather was good as was the bowling!
This day is always popular with the competitors as three games are held with a break at lunchtime for a meal and drink. Our sponsor, David Johncock of Winch & Winch, Solicitors, opened the game wishing everyone well. Due to family commitments he was unable to stay all day for the presentation.
The winner was the entry from Civil Service, the team comprising: Jackie Clark, Carol Anderson and Linda Hoare. Runners up, the team entry from Wingets comprising Rosemary Payne, Greta Young, Iris Marsh.
